Full Bleed Image
All files must incorporate a 3 mm bleed on all four sides. The dimension of the full image including the bleed should be 143 x 96mm.
"Bleed" = the area that will be trimmed off after the card or label is printed and cut down to the finished size.
Since the bleed extends 3 mm all around the card, the document set-up should have an additional 6 mm from top to bottom as well as from left to right beyond the finished size of the card.
Size your image to the Green Bleed line edges to ensure your background extends past the trimmed edge of the card. A full bleed background image needs to extend to the green line. Be sure to extend the background image to the bleed line or the white of the paper may show in the final trimmed product.
If no artwork is uploaded for the INSIDE of the card, the inside will print white.
Illustrates the cutting margin. We can potentially cut the card up to this point. Anything extending outside of this area or too close to the edge of the Safety lines risks being trimmed.
Type smaller than 5 pts could result in registration and legibility issues
Rules should be 3 pts or higher to ensure print quality
Black type should be 100% black not 4 Color black
You will see an online proof after you’ve uploaded your artwork. Please note that your monitor's calibration affects what you see on your screen. Colors viewed on computer monitors may vary significantly from the appearance of the final printed piece. Our online proofs are only meant to be a visual tool for proofing, and are only a rough draft of the final printed piece. Do not trust the colors on your monitor unless you have a monitor that has been accurately calibrated to SWOP standards. We cannot guarantee exact color matching.
